01 Warranty policy

ˇ° Warranty policy :

The limited warranty provided by M.E.T. Technology Co., Ltd. (ˇ§METˇ¨)
is subject to the terms set forth below:

This MET Statement of Limited Warranty applies only to hardware pro-
ducts manufactured by or for MET that can be identified by the trade
name or logo affixed thereto (ˇ§MET Productˇ¨). MET does not warrant
any products that are not MET Products.

MET provides certain warranty service to MET Product without charge
for a one(1)-year warranty period from the purchase date. If you find
any defective MET Product within thirty (30) days from the purchase
date, MET will replace your MET Product with a new one and if you
find the Product defective after thirty (30) days from the purchase
date, MET will, at its discretion, be responsible to repair it or replace it
with an equivalent Product.

This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from accident, abuse,
misuse or unsuitable operating environment, and does not cover the
repair or replacement of a MET Product (i) that has been modified or
repaired without METˇ¦s written permission, or (ii) that has its product
number, serial number or warranty identification labels having been
removed or altered.

The warranty set forth above is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties,
whether oral or written, express or implied. MET specifically disclaims any
and all implied warranties, including, without limitation, unlimited warranty,
warranty provided by your distributor itself, or warranty of merchantability
and fitness for a particular purpose.Unless MET announces otherwise to
the public, in no event shall any MET distrubutor, agent or employee make
any modification, addition or extension to this warranty.

Under no circustances shall MEt be liable for consequential damages re-
sulting from any product's defects during the warranty period, or for
direct, indirect, special, or incidental damages,whether based on contract,
tort, or any other applicable law, without the extent of warranty stated
above,including but not limited to any loss of profits, lockout, goodwill,
replacement of defective equipment and property, any costs of recovering,
reprograming, reproducing and resaving of data, and any expenses of
using MET product.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of direct,
indirect, special or incidental damages or implied warranties,so the
above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. In that event, this
warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other
rights that very from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

ˇ° Non-Warranty Service :

1. If a defective Product is returned to MET Customer Service upon
ˇ@ expiration of its warranty period or upon defects resulting from
ˇ@ violation of MET Statement of Limited Warranty, MET will provide
ˇ@ such defective Product with non-warranty service.

2. Non-warranty service is not free of charge and thus requires certain
ˇ@ service charges, including cost of parts, labor and other relevant
ˇ@ expenses arising therefrom.

3. If a Product is returned to MET Customer Service and has no defects
ˇ@ upon METˇ¦s inspection and testing, MET will charge the inspection
ˇ@ and testing service and other relevant expenses arising therefrom.

4. MET provides a three(3)-month warranty service without charge for
ˇ@ any replaced parts of your defective Product within the extent of
ˇ@ non-warranty service, but provides only thirty(30)-day period of re-
ˇ@ placement service without charge for any accessories. If a Product
ˇ@ finds any defects of other parts than the replaced one during the
ˇ@ three(3)-month warranty period of such replaced part and is
ˇ@ returned to MET Customer Service again, MET will charge the non-
ˇ@ warranty service for other parts accordingly.
